THE WORLD SPORTS CONSUL

World Sports Consul promotes American spirit abroad and strengthens civil society through sports and education.

To this end, the World Sports Consul provides donated sports equipment, uniforms, and sports training to children in Eastern Europe. We emphasize, but are not limited to, ice hockey training for children who do not have sporting opportunities available to them because of cost or access to training personnel.

Armstrong Elementary third-graders tuned in live to the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, for a teleconferencing cultural exchange with students halfway around the world. The teleconference ran from 8-8:45 a.m. Thursday (5 p.m. Kyiv time).
